Costa Rica Comparisons

So I finally relocated to Las Vegas after a lifetime on the east coast. One of the reasons for moving was to be close to TJ. All of my mongering has been done in Costa Rica up until now. For those who have visited both places...is there any reason to go to Costa Rica if TJ is a one-hour plane ride away?

Planning trip from Utah
by Jackbobson- 18 replies

Friend and and I are planning a trip to TJ and we’re looking for some advice. We are both retired and in our 60’s. I’m disabled and have trouble walking very far. So far the plan is to rent a car and drive to the border. We’re not wanting to drive into Mexico so we’ll just pay for parking at border. Wanting to stay at nice hotel, maybe Ticuan or Pueblo Amigo. We’ll be there during the week. Thought we’d line up escorts for the first night, then Zona bars the second night. I’ve been to Zona about 10 years ago. Thanks for your help and recommendations.

Weekend trip from Canada - worthwhile?
by flagrunner- 14 replies

Hi all There are some cheap flights for this wekend and I'm thinking of making the trip from Canada. I would arrive in San Diego at around 6pm on Friday Return trip from San Diego would be at 4pm on Sunday Any estimates as to how long it would take to get from SAN to Zona Norte on Friday and when I should aim to get to the border to cross back on Sunday? I just want to see if there would be enough time in TJ to make the trip worthwhile. If I got a few hours on friday night, all of saturday and a little of Sunday morning, that would work. But perhaps Id need to cross back early Sunday morning to be safe? Given that Im not a US citizen, I also need …

Sites Similar To This One For Other Mexican Cities?
by Ray Purchase- 1 follower

Dear TJ Bros, I am planning a 12-day trip to México in the distant future (October 2022) that will involve visits to Tijuana as well as one other major Mexican city that has decent mongering opportunities. I am almost certain that the other city is going to be Guadalajara but I have not completely ruled out CDMX. As this site has already been well worth the investment of the subscription fee, I wanted to know if any of you were aware of similar forums specific to one Mexican city, e.g., diosasgdl for Guadalajara or this site for Tijuana. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I figure it’d be dumb to not ask you veterans for your humble opinions and advice on a few/.. 6 things 😬. Feel dumb asking this kind of but .. Are their horchatas safe to drink/ made with bottled water ? I’m not a big drinker so I’m wondering what else I’ll be able to order at bars. Guadalajara telegram groups? I saw a post here and can’t find it.. but the screenshot had me immediately want to alter my trip plans to make it there.. What percentage of pesos vs dollars do you usually bring with? Looking to be in Mexico City, Puebla and TJ (about 2 nights in each) I know there are atms but I’d rather not have to hunt around for them or be taxed.…

Going to TJ tomorrow and I’ve spent the last 3-4 hours looking for my passport…couldn’t find it. Time to apply for a new one. Anyways, will I be able to cross tomorrow morning with my driver’s license and the $20 bribe? I heard that they give you some kind of “day pass” card that you take with you…is that right? Also, how long does it take to fill out that FMM form? Thanks!

AirBnBs and escorts?
by snowguy898- 12 replies

I've noticed a lot of agencies say their girls won't go to AirBnBs. Is that pretty much standard for all TJ escorts? And is it for safety reasons? Curious because I'm a much bigger fan of getting my one apartment than hotels.

Hey there! First time posting. Thinking of taking a flight to San Diego and heading to TJ for xmas eve and xmas night, for my first time! I'll be going on foot - no sentri yet, though I just need the interview. I want to keep my laptop to do some work while I'm there, and get some cash locally (I want to stay at Cascadas) What's the best way to go about doing this? What I've read is that I'll have the laptop stolen and that the HK ATMs will steal your money. How can I prevent all of this? What's the best way to get or transport cash?

Different dial tone in mexico

So I've been on this website since the start of the pandemic and the only reason I have not yet gone is because of the dial tone one hears when calling me in mexico. I went to TJ a couple years ago and a friend called me and knew exactly where I was at because if the dial tone. How can I avoid this? I don't want to use the I am in San Diego and my cell picked up a Mexican tower excuse either lmao. Any help is appreciated!

I apologize if this is a common question, I am a noobie, but I am trying to get in and have a place to stay immediately that isn't super shady. Would be nice to know some fellow gringos down to chill nearby. Do I even need to live right next to the border, or maybe just down the highway is a bit better? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am totally new to this, so please help me out.

Couple of last-minute questions
by flagrunner- 1 follower

I'm visiting TJ tomorrow for the first time. Staying for 4 nights. It was a last minute booking so I'm frantically trying to form a game plan. From what I've read, I'll probably stay away from HK, or maybe just pop in to see what it is about but not stay. Adelitas sounds like a better alternative, but open to suggestions. I don't like the hard sell, by chicas or bar staff. I just have a couple of quick questions... I have a bit of a milf thing at the moment. Is there any bar/area where I would likely have a good amount of options on this front? I will be leaving for the airport on Sunday around noon. Is there any potential for Sunday morning action a…

Shorts and Kirklands in August? 1 2
by Jefffffrey- 1 follower

I'm not really a newby, but this question is. After going more than a year in shorts or sweats working at home, the thought of wearing jeans in August is a little tough. I know we joke about amigos wearing cargo shorts and Kirklands, but what is the official Amigo stance on shorts during hot days?

I'm planning my first trip for August and I will be staying at Hotel Ticuan for a few nights. In many countries, if you plan to bring someone to your room you need to book the room for "2 guests" but other times 1 guest is ok (i.e. you) because the girl is not truly a guest in the sense she is there all the time like you are. So when it comes to Hotel Ticuan, if I plan to have escorts visit me (potentially for the night) do I need to book for 2 guests or just 1?

'NEW' questions pt2
by PsiFlash- 1 follower

What is the attitude of locals (patrons and providers) to bring outside girls or other females around the chicas in Clubs and streets of the NZ? Be it civvies or GFs (American or Mexican) to show them the 'Zona Brava' picturesque folklore not found in Revo and the similarity of the lights and neon facade to Las Vegas or Thailand or to enjoy certain food specialties. I know, it perhaps depends on the looks, age, or dressing presentation of my companion(s). Or perhaps it is considered a gauche faux pas to bring non-working girls around there. Similar question would be how open is the ZN to (non-ugly) American couples who want to sightsee and have a romp in the w…

La Mansion, hotels and street girls 1 2

It's my 1st trip in 30 yrs. I wanted to bring one girl for a few hours, rest up and go fine another. Plan on doing this for the 5 days I'm there. I'll be looking for SG's as I like the variety. I will probably be staying at Ticuan Hotel and taking uber/taxi to the zone. I'll be taking the SG by taxi back to Ticuan and I'll pay for the taxi/uber to take the SG back to the zone.

'NEW' questions pt1

Actually, I will use my status as 'newcomer' to ask a few questions, as I gather info from rereading the boards and gathering some basics and finding some answers, but also find the sweet spot I seek and like. My first formal 'NEW' question would be: What Hotels near or in Zona Rio or Revolucion (Centro?) allow girls (SG/BR/escort) in, have jacuzzies, clean enough to invite civvies but somewhat close to the action or clubs in Revo and/or ZN? I would even go to some of the Hotels/Motels in ZN if allows you in-out privileges, and have 'safe' parking () asides the before mentioned jacuzzi, I know bringing Civvies might be frowned upon, but perhaps another topic for a…

Do you like to lick pussy in Tijuana? 1 2 3 4

Do any of you regularly eat pussy in TJ? I have yet to do so with any lady I've been with in TJ. I do enjoy going down on women in general but never felt like it south of the border. Maybe because I'm afraid of smelly pussy or catching something. I'm not a very good lover so going down on women I think helps turn her on more during foreplay.
