Night12345 March 25, 2021 Share March 25, 2021 Hola amigos. I traveled from NorCal to OC during fall 2019 to purchase a car then thought since I’m about 1.5 hours away from SD, fuck it I’m going to TJ for a couple days. And that was my last TJ trip. Since then my work has been busy but I finally have some free time in early April so I thought fuck it, I’m having a vacation in TJ. I’m fortunate to be fully vaccinated at a relatively young age and most of my immediate family members are fully vaccinated. I’m also testing for COVID 1-2 times per week since Feb, to give myself peace of mind. I’m planning to go on a Sat - Tue trip, staying at a cleaner hotel, seeing only escorts to avoid crowds, otherwise just going to relax and enjoy the finer restaurants in TJ since I’m a foodie as well. From what I’ve gathered in the forums so far, and I’m super thankful for amigos that contributed on various forums, it sounds like border crossing is about the same except I would have to buy a FMM for $30 in order to cross as a pedestrian. Otherwise it sounds like ped-east is still open, Calle Coahuila is now back to normal..if not worse..as far as crowd goes, restaurants are at 50% indoor dining capacity, and masking is recommended but not mandatory. I finally got my passport card this month so I’m excited about not getting a stamp on my passport book. I can’t wait to see what’s new since my last visit. 4 Link to comment
sampson March 25, 2021 Share March 25, 2021 Masks are not optional in Tijuana restaurants. You can take them off when seated but must put them back on if your going to the bathroom. 3 Link to comment
