My 3-night romp in Managua, Nicaragua.

Welcome to Managua! Managua is a large spread-out city. For the most part, the city was rather dirty. Trash and garbage seemed to be part of the scenery. The cleanest part of the city was in a small tourist area near the Santiago Cathedral and Paseo Xoloylan. The city was also clean around the large hotels and shopping malls. According to Wikipedia, “Managua is the capital and largest city of Nicaragua, and one of the largest cities in Central America. Located on the shores of Lake Managua, the city had an estimated population of 1,055,247 as of 2020, and a population of 1,401,687 in its metropolitan area. The city also serves as the s…

Medellin is my favorite city in Colombia so far. There is something magical and attractive about this place. However, you know the once bachelor paradise is coming to an end when you start seeing black american women randomly roaming around (lol sorry not trying to be racist its just the truth, no longer a secret). Anyways, I always come a few days before December 1st. I love being their for Alborada, the beginning of Christmas. So many lights (alumbrados) and Colombians love this time of year. Its also the most dangerous potentially as a tourist because its high season. As long as you are seasoned, take the proper safety precautions, you'll have a great time! I always us…

Abejitas Spa in Bogota, Club Troya in Santa Fe

The last pitstop in my trip was Bogota. I had met a colombo venezuelan hottie on the older side 29 last year but very hot and curvy. She had recently had lipo surgery which made her look tighter and young. Last year I banged this chick twice, she was that good. I was charged 190 mil COP for the hour, I was able to bust twice and it was GFE! I grabbed her whatsapp and even let her know when I was coming to town. Of course this bitch ghosts me this year when I return. Oh well, I see the lineup of the girls in Abejita Spa midweek at around 8:30 PM. Big mistake I did was tell the madam which country I was visiting from. Then the presentation: Only about 6 girls, 2-3 I really …

Opinions needed - DR or CO at Christmas?

Hi all I'm seeking advice on a few forums regarding this. I'm travelling at Christmas, or at least I'm planning to. I want to get a quick mongering trip in. I know it is SUPER expensive for what you get to travel during that time, and I know it is SUPER quiet and likely difficult to find company during the Christmas/NY week, but it is what it is. My options, given flights, are POP (so Puerto Plata or Sosua) or Medellin (an extra $300 due to an additional Avianca flight connecting through CUN). Assuming you have been to neither, have limited Spanish, and have no prior connections, what would be your choice at that time of year? My gut says Medellin, but rep…

My Quick 2-Night Romp in Antigua, Guatemala!
by tomjackin- 9 replies

Welcome to Antigua! The home of expats, backpackers, and Spanish schools. Why go there again? I figured if I was in Guate for 3 nights, I might as well visit my online Spanish teacher and her family again. This trip went to hell in a handbasket quickly. First, the Friday before, I learned my teacher just had burial services for a close family member. Thus, I was already dreading the trip. I knew about the flower festival and it ended Sunday night and I arrived on Sunday afternoon. Usually without traffic, it takes an hour to get to Antigua from Guate. But because of the festival traffic, it took over 3 hours. I got to …

My 3-night romp in Guatemala City!

Welcome to Guatemala City! The city is a great place for mongering! It has more clubs than churches; hell yeah! It also has a lot to see and do, including eating at some great restaurants. Why Guate? The last time I was there was in January 2014 and now I am returning to Central American countries in order to see what has changed since pinche covid! CAUTION: This is a very long trip report. Logistics & Other Stuff: References: I used three references: World Travel 69’s map, WikiSexGuide, and Google search. Travel Insurance: The SquareMouth web-site will give you over 50 quotes …

I went to Pereira during the second leg of my trip. I went to: La pecina Rosquillas Star club Flores frescas las hijas de Eva when I got to Pereira it was Thursday night of noche de las velas. They celebrated this on Thursday and Friday and it is their version of Thanksgiving. They light candles and make a wish and give thanks. A time for family and many go to the parks to watch los alumbrados (Christmas lights) which are beautiful and festive. Colombia is beautiful in December and everyone should visit this time of year atleast once. America sucks and has gone to shit with all this D&I woke gay shit. Anyways back to our favorite subject,…

I went to Santa Marta as my third leg of my yearly Colombia trip this year. I stayed en el Centro really close to el Malecon. I recommend tourists stay en Taganga (15 minutes from el centro and more local priced hotels) or stay en el Rodadero (the strip just north of the airport. Staying en el centro is about 30 minutes north of the airport and uber doesn't work here, which sucks. I did find that taxi drivers can be fair, always best to ask beforehand. 40mil COP and under is about right from airport to el centro and 20 mil from centro to Tatanga is fair. El centro to Dubai Bar 20-25mil COP is fair. If you can learn the bus system and don't mind the stops it should only co…

Photo dump and commentary - Santa Marta, Colombia

PhordPhan at your service, doing all the insane touristy stuff so you don't have to! Miscellaneous background stuff: I have more timeshare weeks than I can use. Santa Marta came up on a search, the timing was OK, so I booked it. Other places came up, too, but the airfares from MEX were insane. Ademas, everybody has jumped on the "charge extra for baggage" bandwagon, adding significantly to the cost of airfare. I'd never flown Copa before. I like them. They have a teaser price like everybody else, but for a very reasonable upgrade fee you get a checked bag and you can choose your own seat. Oh, and you get free non-alcoholic drinks and food. Volaris and VivaAerobus cha…

Just returned home from Israel 😳

So if you look at my previous post in my “talk me off a cliff thread” you might have caught where I said I will be in Israel in a couple weeks. Well…..fun times Readers digest version. Feel free to ask anything. Landed in Israel 4 hours after war was declared and the attacks. Spent the next 5 days in the unknown, air raid sirens. Explosions non stop in the distance. Got taken to Athens by the embassy and am now home. Very crazy experience. I have been to Israel countless times, this was the craziest thing I have ever walked through. Thankful to be on American soil.

My 3-Night Romp in Santa Marta, Colombia!

This section of this trip report covers basic information about Santa Marta and Barranquilla! I have been to a few cities in Colombia, such as Cartagena, Medellin, and Cali, but I still wanted to visit a couple of other cities. This trip was split between Santa Marta and Barranquilla, three nights in each city. Once again, I used World Travel 69’s maps for both locations. I also consulted my travel friend, Mr. Enternational, and he filled in some missing gaps; always helpful. Travel insurance: I purchase travel insurance from Generali Global Assistance for around 160 bucks. Why? During these times, “Quien sabe?” I search for the po…

About a month after my trip last November one of my 100,000 pesos per hr GF's sent me this inspirational video: VID-20221216-WA0001 (1).mp4 After watching the above vid, I thought to myself, what the hell, your only young and miserable once, why not go back. So I did. This trip I stayed at the Casa Alejandria which is 3 blocks above the Hotel Medellin M. It was a chill place, everything worked in the room and the cash price is about $68 bucks a night. For details on the room options and everything else just click on the link. Made a few casa runs on this trip. Went to Armonia calle 54 (caracas) # 49-97, New life Cr 156 (Bolivia) # 43-39 and Club Amig…

My 8 night romp summary in Lima, Peru!
by tomjackin- 3 replies

This was my 8th trip to Lima since August 2014. I’ve seen a lot of changes throughout those years; mostly good, but after pinche covid, mostly bad. Having said that, it’s still a great place to visit! Logistics: Flight: I flew AA round trip from San Diego. Prices for flights have skyrocketed; just unbelievable! There were no covid tests required going to Peru or coming back to the US. All the extra paperwork, like the health questioner for Peru, no longer existed. Travel insurance: I purchased travel insurance from Travelex for 66 bucks. Why? During these times, “Quien sabe?” Logging: I rented a 3 bedroom, 3 b…

Caution, this is a long trip report. Welcome to Lima, one of my favorite cities in the world! Logistics: Flight: I flew United round trip from San Diego using my travel credits from all the flights I had to cancel. The flight was 3 hours to Houston and another 6 to Lima. Before the flight, United had me complete a few things in their Travel Ready Center: Proof of Passport Proof of being vaccination Health questioner for Peru Travel insurance: I purchase travel insurance from World Nomads for around 80 bucks. Why? During these times, “Quien sabe?” Pinche covid tests: There were …

Guatemala

Headed down to Guatemala for a week this past Fall. No problems with the flight. Got a horrible exchange rate at the airport, something like 6.5 Q to 1 USD, so only exchanged 20 dollars at the airport exchange. At ATMs in Guatemala City and Antigua, the exchange rate was about 7.5 Q to 1 USD, so a much fairer rate if your bank allows international withdrawals. Guatemala City. I never went into zone 1 (downtown) given all the negative comments that have been posted about the city. I stayed in the nicer part of town somewhat close to the airport in a hotel in zone 10. Stayed there the night I arrived and the night before I left. I never got on a chicken bus whil…

Quick Trip to Medellin

Back in August I had a buddy tell me that he was going to be in Miami Nov 1 with 3 days to kill and was going to plan a trip to Rio de Janeiro. I told him that I was in bad need to go somewhere in search of some moral redemption and that I would investigate making the trip with him. After researching the cost of plane tickets (round trip from SD about $1200) and distance I just didn't think it made sense. I contacted him and suggested as an alternative to Rio that we instead go to Medellin. With the steep decline of the Colombian Peso, the shorter distance and the fact that we both speak Spanish I thought that to be a better option. He quickly agreed to the change in venu…

Considering Medellin 1 2 3

Really seriously thinking about Medellin now. Just got back from my 3 day adventure of TJ. It was great and all, but the increased prices and just feeling like I've been there and done that...might be time to try something new. Want to try Germany and FKK, but language barriers and completely different culture do scare me a bit. Thinking Bogota and Medellin, and ever so often remember about this post and other Medellin threads and think about finally pulling the trigger! Anyways always appreciate the Medellin info, especially current ones, and might post my TJ TR sometime this week once I get back in schedule!

So next week I will be traveling from Spain to meet up with @Dragon-Encabronado in Panama for several days and then we will go on to DF where I am flying Mi (Now Ex-) Novia in to spend six nights. In Panama, the Veneto Hotel where all of the hookers hung out is long gone (a victim of COVID) and now all of the girls are at the JW Marriott. Can't wait to hit there and try some fine Colombiana ass again! In DF, I will be reuniting with Mi (Now Ex-) Novia and that will be epic in its own right. I have not seen her in over a year. We have been talking that it will be difficult to wait until we get top the hotel before we attack each other. We plan to do t…
