This report is from a trip in March of 2020 Chapter One Hour flight from Bangkok and arrived in Yangon. I exchanged money in the airport for about $200US at 1,440 kyats to 1(later exchanged $500US at 1,480kyats to 1 when the rate was 1,395..strange). I use Google Fi so your roaming is seamless and I use my second phone(Google Pixel 3 XL) as my travel phone as it takes excellent photos and is a reliable phone. Booked through Grab(no Uber in SEAsia) and I believe it was 14,000 kyats. Like most airports in Asia, the airport was far as fuck from the city center. Took about 45 minutes to get there but it can take an hour. I opted for Hotel Grand United 21r…

Planet Tokyo (June 2019)

Another report of a trip prior to Covid. Now I would just use my Google Fi sim and travel phone once I return to Japan. Arrived at the airport from a United Flight that was part of a share with ANA. All of my other flights were with ANA. The only transpacific airlines worse than United are the Mainland China airlines(China Eastern, China Southern, Air China). I booked a multi city flight from San Diego to Tokyo(via SFO), Tokyo to BKK and then BKK to San Diego(via Tokyo and LAX). Total cost $780. I upgraded to economy deluxe on the SFO to Tokyo leg as they put me in the middle of a big row. The extra $200 was worth it for the emergency exit row, bigger seat…

HongKong in the far East (TR)

Made a trip to SEA last two months. First stop was Bangkok but only for 2 days and wasn't able to fit in any action due to the company I was keeping! Anyways, here is a vid of a hottie seated in the same row as me on the flight from BGK to HK. In HK had many chances to visit their walk-up fuck-shacks, especially in the Wanchai and Tsim Sha Tsui (Kowloon) areas. Had a great time at a NURU spa with an absolutely gorgeous chinese babe but couldn't get any pics or video of her because these NURU girls never take their eyes off you as they undress you and re-dress you!! Anyways, I have a plan for next time (so be patient)! Got a nice (albeit long) video of a g…

Buying a Bar in Pattaya
by Explorer- 22 replies

Not a whole bar, a partial interest, I’m not that crazy. I don’t really expect to make much baht, but I am sure that bars are cheap now. So.... how much could I expect to pay for, say, a 10% ownership interest in a small bar? I am told that rent is a big expense for a bar, and rent can be around 50,000 baht for a month. That’s less than $2000. What I am worried about is a long stretch of capital calls due to the bar losing money. That would be no fun. Even losing a few hundred dollars every month would be disappointing.

Another Trip to Thailand Coming Real Soon Now 1 2
by Explorer- 39 replies

Coming back to the USA, I booked a round trip ticket, so I am already scheduled to return, right after my second vaccine shot. Thailand has reduced quarantine from 15 days to 10 days, which will make my return easier. I also wanted to come back to pick up stuff from my storage unit to bring to Thailand. I don't really have much planned for my next trip. I have to come back to the USA in late July, so I will be racking up plenty of frequent flier miles this year. I guess my big effort will be making a battery backup for my condo to cover power outages, since any rain tends to shut down power in my building. There wasn't really anything I missed doing in T…

I've been quite tardy in writing this up. Mostly I've been procrastinating because there isn't a lot to tell. Thanks to our bat-eating cousins things really didn't go as planned. What I had planned as a vacation doing little but loafing poolside kinda fizzled. But, I guess as we're all less busy than we were, I'll try to stir up the embers of a somewhat faulty memory and press on. I'd planned this thing for quite a while. But I'd waited until too late to buy inexpensive tix. By the time I got around to it the flights had pretty much filled up due to Songkran travel. So, I had to compromise a lot. EVA wanted stupid money or stupid arrival/departure/layover times. Chin…

Sony Pictures & Amazon Falls Opening Aquaverse In Thailand, First Columbia Pictures Theme & Waterpark
by Geting2Old- 2 replies

I am not familiar with all the theme parks located throughout Thailand, but most of them seem to be variations of waterparks. While this new 14 acre theme park will also feature water based attractions, which I am not particularly a fan of, it will also feature land based attractions and will be based on Sony Picture's popular franchises such as Jumanji and Men in Black. I always hoped Thailand would get a world class theme park along the likes of Disneyland, and while this is not anywhere near that, it is still very welcome. The electronics division of Sony is among the top 10 electronics companies in the world, so there's some weight behind this financially and technolo…

I have been going to Pattaya since 2004, so here is some info that you can use: Pattaya is the easiest place in the world for pay for play. I should know, I am lazy. You book a hotel, arrive there, go outside to any bar, and you can hook up in 5 minutes. The ladies almost all live on social media, even if they work bar. You can get their contact info, but 90 percent will hit you up for cash. Any request for cash over the internet is a scam, no matter how bad their story is. For example, hospital care in Thailand is basically free, but every bar girl has a sick mother who must pay for a huge hospital bill. Or so they say. Also, don't send them messages if you are…

I am considering blowing the bolts and taking the twins on a world tour. Maybe meeting them in Russia or Turkey and hitting various countries as they open up post-virus. Yeah, I have cabin fever, I have been sitting in my farm for 4 months.

China...anyone ever been? (Pre-COVID era) 1 2

Asia has been on my list of places to visit for years now. But mostly south/ south east Asia, (Philippines, Cambodia, India, and Thailand) in that order...but recently China has become of interest to me. Obviously this sounds absurd considering COVID and the last years Events. But putting COVID aside and for arguments sake, with China in mind either pre COVID era or a year or 2 from now when (hopefully, COVID has disappeared altogether OR worldwide vaccines have eliminated any COVID fears) was China at any point in the past a good Destination for mongering? Thanks in advance for any info!

March 4 – March 6: Los Angeles/Seoul/Manila While I’ve been taking an overnight trip every month or so down to Tijuana for years, I’d never taken a big P4P trip until 2018. For a long time, my dream was travelling to Brazil to visit the famous Help Disco in Rio, but I waited too long and it closed down. Then as I read more trip reports on TJ Amigos by the likes of Blazers and Big Papi, a desire grew to check out Thailand. I certainly waited a while, as I was commenting on TJA threads about Thailand 11 years ago. Sadly I never got to put this TR on TJA as the site closed around the time I got back from my trip, so I’ll put it here. I joined Pattaya Addicts in…

[Part 1] Just returned from a very very fun and action packed trip to the land of smiles, Thailand. Just short of an entire month, I did my best to milk the most out of everyday. Flying out of SFO > Taoyuan Intl airport via EVA Oct 31 12:30AM was easier and more comfortable than anticipated. I did upgrade and purchase premium economy seats ahead of time which was worth every penny. The food was good, leg room and seating was excellent. If I fly this airline again i'll be sure to go for premium economy. Picked up a free copy of the Wall Street Journal and USA Today for the flight. 13+/- hours was a breeze. Luckily for me, I slept 12 hours o…

I left for a job in Shanghai at the end of June, and then hit Thailand on July 1. I had a date with a lady up in Khon Kaen, so I flew up there after landing in Bangkok. I spent one night at the Pullman hotel, the lady and I basically had dinner, fucked and slept, and I was off to U-TAPAO airport near Pattaya. The flights within Thailand cost $30. From the airport I shared a minivan with 6 other people for 250 baht ($10 or so). Since my hotel was in Jomtien, I got dropped off first. My hotel was the Agate, on the fridge of the gay area. I stayed there because my storage locker was right around the corner, and I had to exchange junk from my suitcase with stuff in the l…

I'm actually planning out the first couple weeks of my trip because I have guests in my condo that I have to entertain for a week a few days after I arrive. I am taking a flight from LAX to Hong Kong. When I arrive in HKG, I will take a bus over the world's longest bridge to Macau and spend the night. The next day, my regular massage lady is going to fly up from Bangkok, and we will spend a couple of days in Macau. I will pay her 2000 baht a day. Then, we fly back to Bangkok, and take a lady taxi to my condo. I expect the massage lady to clean my condo, I won't be able to stop her. In the morning, she will go back to her work, and my alternate massage lady …

I posted on here last year about traveling to PI in the near future, I came so close to booking my trip. I was set to book it around September of 2019 and the actual date of travel would have been sometime in February 2020...long story short I got involved with a girl I’d known here in the US for a long time so obviously a trip to PI was no longer an option. By December things had run their course with her and I found myself regretting not booking my trip, But then In February I felt better about it knowing that the trip might not have happened anyways due to the virus. So here’s where I need some advice, should I bother with trying to book another trip? My plan had …

The Second Time Around (Singapore & Thailand) 1 2

This TR covers my second trip to Asia. The first trip was chronicled in “Briguy’s Asian Extravaganza.” This time I was planning on going with some friends, but one friend decided he wanted to wait until his Social Security kicks in come spring. My friend had first had the idea that it would be fun to be in Pattaya for Halloween. I took that idea to heart. I then discovered that United flew Los Angeles/Singapore/Bangkok/Los Angeles for just $ 550. I ponied up two months before I wanted to leave on October 21st and the countdown began. Left Los Angeles on a Monday night, using one of the two annual lounge passes I get from my United credit card to while away the time…

Day 1 - Bangkok I left LAX at 12:05a on 11/20. I was flying China Eastern from LAX to Shanghai and then on to Bangkok. Total time to get there was 21 ½ hours. I will never complain about the 3 hour drive to Tijuana ever again. On the plane I was initially seated in row 64C, next to a mom and kid. She asked me if I would change places with her husband who was sitting further back. At first I told her no because I had paid $8 for this aisle seat but once I saw that the husband was also in an aisle seat and there were only two seats together instead of three, I told her I would do it. The stewardesses were all fussy about it but I told them to calm do…

Mongering in Thailand Compared with TJ 1 2
by Explorer- 1 follower

The biggest difference is that you usually go to Thailand for at least a week or two, whereas TJ is generally short stay, sometimes less than a day. So, you get to know the ladies a lot better when you see them day after day. Another difference is that TJ short time is 30 minutes, whereas in Thailand, it's either an hour or first pop. Pattaya is a lot safer than Tijuana. You almost never have an interaction with the cops in Thailand.

So for the last 4 years or so the Philippines have been a destination on my bucket list. I’ve heard plenty of stories about how great Thailand is but I’ve always figured that for a first time visitor to SEA (south east Asia) the Philippines would be a good place for a first timer as English is (from what I hear) widely spoken. Plus nonstop flights to Manila are available from LAX. I was hoping to make it there this July, but my current finances are making next February or March much more feasible for me. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here has any advice, tips, or stories to share in regards to visiting Philippines, especially as a first timer. I’ve checked onli…

Is My New Girlfriend a Dyke?
by Explorer- 1 follower

Well, she's not my girlfriend, she's just my massage lady, but I will be hooking up with her in Hong Kong next week. I was video chatting with her last week, and my gaydar went off, I started thinking she might have some dyke in her. So, I took a look at her Facebook, and quickly found she had 4 different accounts (not that uncommon because they lose their cell phones). Surprisingly, she didn't have many Western "friends". But her FB page in Thai had some interesting things. Unlike her other pages, it said she was interested in Men and Women. Also, there were posts from a young lady showing them together in very close poses, a few years ago. I checked out the young l…
