With all the pc bullshit and vanilla current swirling through NV right now, not to mention I'm just a cheap prick, I'm headed south. A couple of my LPIN brothers turned me onto this site and I'm lovin' it so far. Won't be making my first trip until next winter, but I've got some reading to do. There's lots of good info on this site, so you have plenty of reading material to keep you busy while you're planning your first trip. I remember telling ChicagoBob about this site awhile back and now he's a regular around here. The only shitty thing of TJ is the cross back lines, if you can make that less painful somehow with much suggested ways here, the fun will be 1000 fold than LV. Link to comment

It's no longer an affordable vacation destination for many now. I use to have family in the Vegas area so it was a good excuse to visit several time each year which is how I got started visiting the NV brothels ca. 2000. I still go to Vegas occasionally, since I have several local friends out there. One good thing is that they have 2 "Taco El Gordo" locations in Vegas. LOL Link to comment

Yes, once they made each department of the casino start pulling its own weight, as it were, all the great deals evaporated. OTOH, LV now has some of the very best restaurants extant. Few are in the casinos, but I never go to casinos anyway. You're right about the Tacos El Gordo. They always seem to be packed. The prices are exorbitant, IMO. But I'm jaded. I get genuine TJ tacos damn near every visit, no need to buy them in the States. 2 Link to comment
