ED Meds vs Testosterone

Any of you guys familiar with testosterone gel?  And have an opinion regarding such ?  I started using ED meds before I ever needed them.  Actually, don’t really know if I ever really needed them, but have been using them anyway. I have experienced Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra. With a preference for Viagra and Cialis. Quite a while ago I switched to Maca  Root, which has been absolutely FaNtAsTiC for me.  Also , I haven’t been having sex as frequently as before the pandemic, so I haven’t had the need or desire, like usual to use Meds.  The few times  I have Recently had any sexual interaction without using EDs, or Maca,  I’ve had No Problems getting an erection, but those times, I have also not done MSOG.  So I’m not sure about that, without EDs or Maca, or about Multiple Days on End .

Anyway, I saw my doctor Thursday about this & that, and told him I wanted some ED meds.  I figure since Kaiser now has Generics, I might as well get them with a legit script, since the cost is no longer “stupid”. My Doc wants  to give me a testosterone gel instead of meds, but he’s checking my testosterone level first.  When he said he wanted to give me the gel, he touched his chest as he said it.  I didn’t ask, but it gave me the impression that the gel is absorbed thru the skin, by the way he motioned  when he mentioned the gel.  So I’m waiting for my lab result, before getting the gel. When I’m in TJ, I like to FuCk several times a day, for several days.  So I want something that will sustain that type of activity.

Again, Anyone have experience with, or an opinion regarding testosterone gel?

Testosterone replacement administered topically is generally preferable to pills or injections, according to my doctor. It's easier on the liver than the pills. It works fine. But you're probably not going to start taking it and then run around with a perpetual hard-on like a teenager. The doc won't prescribe that much. He'll check blood to see that you're within limits, you're not breaking out in zits, or becoming testy.

Much like HRT in women, overall you'll feel better, maybe look a little better. You may also gain more body hair and lose more head hair.

Well we certainly would not want Senor @smoothburnn to loose more head hair.   :D

I'm interested in your case. I have had up and down T levels.  My Kaiser did has not been as proactive like yours. I may go thru a TJ doc for meds.

Good luck

Does age not play a part? I'm 61 and my doc said my T level was normal, and not to take T meds. I miss instantaneous hardons  LOL

MSOG?  that's been awhile for me too. Use viagra, though don't know if I really need it. Maca root sounds interesting .

I just recently turned 65.  No idea what my T-level is, but will know soon.  Like I said earlier, I began using EDs, without needing to.  When in TJ, I would generally take a viagra, then about 6-8,9,or 10 hours later, I would take a Cialis.  That would give me a good affect, for a few days. No problem getting or maintaining an erection, like I said, for a few days straight.  Occasionally, if I were FuCkInG almost continually during those few days, there might come a time when I would continue getting hard, but not ejaculate .  I could live with that, but if I was with the same woman for an extended amount of time, often I would wear her out.  When I started using Maca Root (Maca Man), it seemed to be more intense than the ED meds, and has longevity, but occasionally will  briefly raise my heart rate.  Generally about an hour after ingestion, for about 1/2 an hour.  Not AlWaYs, but sometimes.  To be honest, the Maca Man has scared me a few times, due to it’s intensity.  I asked my doctor for an ED script, just to have an ongoing supply stash.   He’s suggesting testosterone gel, so we’ll see..  I actually haven’t had a problem regarding MSOG, I just haven’t done them north of the border, as often as I do south of the border.  And during the pandemic, I haven’t traveled south very often.  I plan to make only my fourth trip since the pandemic began, this week.   And my post pandemic trips, have only been 24hrs each.  Pre pandemic, I was in TJ “at least” twice a month, for several days each

I read a lot about this when I started Keto, although I am not on a strict Keto diet anymore.  What I know is that testosterone enhancements will cause the body to make less of it to compensate for the excess.  The body will eventually lose its ability to make it if the enhancement continues.  This is in general terms ,  since you asked I shared what I know.

I'd like to hear more about Maca man. I have tried maca powder and had good results but maybe not like what you described with using maca man.

I talked to my Dr a few years ago and he said my testosterone was within normal and I didn't need supplemental testosterone.

I had tried ED pills years ago and I had the best results with Cialis.  I didn't need them  but I liked the shorter downtime between performances. Now that I am on medication for hypertension the effect isn't as great.

I use GNC’s Maca Man.  It’s prolly different , for different people.  You know, the YMMV kinda thing.  But for me it’s GrEaT.   Good, Strong effect, stays  in my system long enough to engage in sexual activity the way I like to.  Like I said causes an occasional spike in my heart rate.  When it does, it has been soon after ingestion, short in duration, and can vary in intensity.  Scared the shit out of me the very first time I used it, because that was most intense reaction.  I had to lay down down about 30 minutes, until my heart calmed down.      The kind of reaction that might  scare some from trying it again.  But since it was so short in duration, I decided to try it again, and I’ve been very happy with it ever since.   Check it out

I generally just lower my initial dosage.  Then little to no heart rate spike, but again when it has spiked , it has only been shortly after the initial dose, and has subsided quickly.  But might be more concerning to some, than others, and might not effect others in that way :dunno:

If possible, lifting weights, staying relatively fit, eating right, avoiding alcohol/nicotine/narcotics, and sleeping well - if one does this - thank God for modern day ED medications,  they do wonders.

I always say this,  we are the first generation of the human species who can have full raging erections in our late 50's, 60's and 70's - if only we can upkeep our libido, (When possible), and from this generation,  we here in the USA who wield the "$" and hopefully are single have a unique advantage fucking our brains out,  with them 20 year old sexiest Chicas I say the world can offer.   I sure will not pass on this.  I am staying fit, upkeep my natural testosterone and stay horny.

I agree. Diet and exercise is what elevated my levels. It was hard work and my doc wanted to know if I was using a T supplement.  When covid struck, no exercise more drinking. I can feel my T Levels going down just by the lack of umph.

Ok so I am a TRT (Testosterone replacement therapy) guy.  I have been doing it for 4 years now and feel amazing and have learned a ton.

I do injections which is not for everyone. Everyone that posted really is speaking truth. Depending on your level diet and exercise can help, if not gel is entry level.  A few things to remember.

- Your hair might (prob will) thin.  This is just reality.  There are some things to combat it but it probably will happen.

-As long as you stay with the gel many of the other challenges won’t really be challenges.  If you jump to the injections there are some other proactive things you should do.  But gel wont give you the extreme dose that causes some of those challenges.

Anyways bro I will help answer any questions I can.

As I have said , I’ve taken EDs without really needing to.  When I’m in TJ , I often “Binge Fuck”.  That’s why I use EDs.  Whether it’s   Psychological or not, I’ve AlWaYs though it helped me to stay strong & “rage” (so to speak), for days.  ED meds or supplements , I can take as needed or as wanted.  With the gel , I don’t think I want to use it,if you must take it regularly as opposed to sporadically. / when you want to . :bald_head::dunno:.  I talk to my Doc in more detail to learn more about the gel, depending on what he says about my level

@ Smoothburn--Yes!!   I used to know a guy from Hotel Leyva named Chungking Charlie; and at age 45 he bought some Lowtijel 14 tubes for $35USD in Mexico!!  He rubbed 50mgs into his triceps; and his t levels shot up for about 3 weeks; then crashed waaaaay down to where he felt tired all the time!!   Then he upped his dose to 100mgs every day; and he temporarily had energy!!   Then he  noticed that his testicles had shrunk way smaller in size!!   He got tested and his t levels were at only 126;  whereas 400 to 990 is the normal range!!

So the best way to go is to do squats in the gym; and god will naturally raise your T levels!!   My friend Vegas Rick does squats- and at age 60 he has the energy of a young Bengal Tiger!!  Natural is better than synthetic any day!!   Also Yoga is fantastic for creating energy!!

With what I’m hearing, I’m thinking 🤔 I don’t need any gel .  I’ve been doing fine with what I’ve AlWaYs done.  I just asked my Doc for some ED meds, since the price has come way, and I know they’re totally legit, as opposed to a realistic uncertainty, south of the border.  My Doc just went straight to Gel.  I might just forget Kaiser, and continue to get my stuff south of the border, like I have been doing.  You know like maybe —- if it’s not broke don’t fix it :bald_head::dunno:.  I don’t know,  we’ll see

Unfortunately, at least where I live, the people who follow the science have decided to keep the drive thru open, the Cheetos and tweenkies on the shelves, but the gyms are closed.  I wonder if T levels are going down across the board?

My doctor left me a message that all my labs/ test were normal.  Exactly what that means as far as my T level :dunno:.  I’ll contact him to discuss things in detail, but if my T level is “normal”, I would think that gel is not necessary.   From what I’m learning regarding taking testosterone, I Don,t think I’d take it , regardless. :dunno:.  Just give me an ED script, like I originally requested, and I’ll be on my way.  I need to talk to my doc, and also learn more regarding ED meds vs Gel ; but the meds seem like they’d give me more control, and if my T level is normal :bald_head:.  For now - “To be continued”

Everything is sorta subjective.  You can be low normal and not feel normal.  I am not pushing T but just saying.  I was never experiencing some of the sexual side effects of having low T but I was experiencing others.

Its science though and you need to find what works for you.  I work out heavy, I take HCG to combat any shrinkage and to make sure my own body doesn’t stop producing T.

If you are feeling great and still in the normal range (even low Normal) I wouldn’t mess with it.  I think you are thinking good.

But, if you decide to its not the end of the world.

I feel GrEaT.  I don’t work out like I use to, and I’m no where near  in the shape that I use to be, but I do , do a lot of bike riding & treadmill.

I simply wanted to get some ED meds to have on hand, and getting a script at home is easier and more convenient than getting them in TJ.  My Doc just went straight to “Gel”, when I asked him for a script. :bald_head::dunno:

What is HCG and what do you mean by shrinkage?
