Unconventional First Trip

Hello all! Ive been lurking this site for a few months know and have learned a lot! Thanks to all the contributors for making this such a great place!

I'm looking to my first trip to Mexico in a few weeks. I haven't had a proper break in a year and a half due to a long distance move and now the 'rona. I want to go to TJ but not quite ready to venture into the Zona, mostly because people are saying its a shell of its former self right now. My plan right now is to go to Rosarito, rent an Airbnb condo, entertain a few escorts and hang out on the beach. From what I have read Rosarito is the only place right now where the beach is open, even if only a few hours a day. I'll fly to SAN and walk across the border and get an Uber or Taxi down to Rosarito(if theres a cheaper way, I'm open to it. I have traveled quite a bit and have no problems with public transport). Will any of the agencies have a problem with their girls going that far? I imagine there will be a surcharge for their travel? It looks like most of the condos have private guards. Will bringing multiple girls over the course of a few days be frowned upon by security? Any major flaws in my plans?

Also, I have global entry and have only used it crossing the border in airports. This will allow me to use the ( i think) Sentri lanes when crossing by foot? How much time does this save generally? In airports it really only saves time at the busiest and most unorganized borders (mostly LAX and EWR lol). Generally any time saving is eaten up when you have to wait for you bag before exiting.

Thanks in advance!

Yes.  You just follow signs for Sentri. It can save anywhere from a minutes to hours.  But it will typically always save you time.  I have gone early in the morning, afternoon, evening, late night and have never waited more than 30 minutes.  30 minutes is few and far between.

A few comments on your plans:

Trying to take an Uber from the border in Tijuana to Rosarito is probably possible, but the driver will likely not be happy about driving that far.  Ubers are not welcome in Rosarito.  If you do this, I would tip heavily (like 100%) as the driver is not likely to get a fare back to Tijuana.  Then, once you are in Rosarito, good luck getting escorts there.  Tijuana escorts are not going to come to Rosarito.  Lastly, it has been discussed that many AirBnB places are not going to be receptive to random chicas coming in during the evening/night.  Some, depending in security level, may not allow it at all.

In my opinion, get a room at Ticuan or an AirBnB in Tijuana that you know is chica-friendly and have a much better time.

Regarding Global Entry, yes it allows you to literally walk past everyone right to the front of the line and into the SENTRI line.,  Seriously, if you have Global Entry, boldly walk past EVERYONE in line right to the front.  That is what it gets you.  Once inside the building, they will call you up before others in the general line

Thanks! these are the kinds of holes I needed blown in my plans. I'll have to rethink this whole thing. Maybe split a few days between TJ and Rosarito? Any recommendations for the beach areas nearer to TJ?

I'd be interested in what time you had to wait as a Global Entry/ Sentri participant. As a pedestrian with Global Entry, I've never encountered a wait that long (admittedly, I've never left TJ early in the morning). I've been using my Global Entry for years now and you can walk right past everyone using the Sentri line. When you get to the gate into the U.S., just show your GE card to the agents and they'll let you right in. At most, there might be a person or two in front of you when you get to the Sentri desk inside the building.

As for getting escorts to visit you in Rosarito, there might be a problem because escorts don't usually go to private homes and condos for safety reasons. Aside from that, it might be smart to contact the escort companies you're interested in ahead of time to see if they have any ladies who are willing to work in Rosarito.

I was afraid of this and I'm sure as an unknown newb my chances are probably slim to none. atleast getting anyone worth while.

I would get a room at Ticuan for fucking and then an AirBnB in Playas for relaxing, if that is what you are after.  Keep in mind, few things are open now so you wonderful beach escape vacation may not even be possible right now.

Not knowing how anything is going down in TJ right now (so maybe I shouldn't post, so fair warning), my guess is that Rosarito will be completely dead with probably no mongering options.  Still, if you love the beach, maybe get a nice Airbnb and enjoy the beach.  There is nothing wrong with taking a couple of days and relaxing with beach walks and ubereats.  Better though to sandwich your time with a room at the Ticuan.  Have some adventures, take a few days to process and recharge, then go out with a bang and take your memories with you on the plane.

If you're dying to do Rosarito, you can take the bus.  It's around 300p one way and they leave all day.  They're not the Greyhound experience you find the US.  Using the long-haul buses in Mexico is a much more pleasant experience.  The buses are clean, most all of them have WiFi and in-seat entertainment options, and some even give you a set of headphones with your ticket.

Consider staying at the Rosarito Beach Hotel if you want to go down there.  Even if you can find an agency willing to have a chica come to Rosarito, I can 99.99% guarantee they won't let her come to an Airbnb (and that goes for Tijuana, too).

Grab a room at the Ticuan and order in escorts.

You might also want to go stroll down to Zona and see a few of the SGs.  There are some definite beauties out there.  The speakeasy experience is a unique one right now and might well be worth checking out, too.  Depending on when you come down though it might be back to business as usual.... tentative re-open date is September 15 and like we had a few months ago, there might be a night or two of the old days before it gets shut down again...

That long of a wait has only happened to me two times. Both times it was between 6 AM and 8 AM.

One of the times it was backed up and I’m really not sure completely why. The second time they were doing that thing where they let one person at a time through the metal turn styles. It’s a very strange thing where it seems like they’re trying to check IDs and trap the person they are looking for if needed hahah But there was a line that time as well. Typically I never have to wait.
