Start reading the trip reports to get yourself ready. Also, take a camera to get pics of the chicas, and post your trip report for us.

Use uber.  Don't let the meseros dictate what you want to do.  Order a drink at the bar and ignore the messeros bringing you ladies.

Seriously it depends on what you want to do.  Check the escort sites.  Where are you staying?

I would say for a first time crosser, don't mess with Uber at the border.  Take a taxi or grab the HK limo/shuttle.  Taxi will cost 70p or $5 usd to Zona.  Once you're past the border and in Centro/Zona, then Uber is cool.

I also recommend sticking with USD for a first trip other than maybe 10 or 20 bucks converted to pesos.  Small bills in whatever currency you choose - 200p or smaller in pesos; $20s and smaller USD.  Change is always a fucking issue here for some reason.

Other tips - scope the Trip Report section and other topics within Zona Norte subforum. https://www.tijuanatalk.net/forum/85-tijuanas-zona-norte-la-zona-de-tolerancia”/

Ask questions and I'm certain an Amigo or two will chime with their opinion.

Read all of the threads on here that serve as general information about TJ.  Read the "what's your best TJ tip thread."

Have a plan B, and plan C...basically go with the flow. Make sure you eat some of the outstanding food (see the restaurant reviews section).

Above all have fun!

Gringo S R,  this is his first trip,  never having been before.  I doubt if he has a Plan A, let alone a Plan B or C. :bald_head:.  But reading up here before his Maiden Voyage, should help him develop some type of plan..

  But you told him the most important thing, with your last line.

That is true. What I kinda what I meant to convey by saying that is... A lot of things don't go the way we think they will in TJ and its good to be flexible.

For example, my first trip I had planned on staying at the Ticuan and seeing nothing but escorts, well the booker couldn't get ahold of any of the ones I wanted to see. So I went to HK, but it was super crowded with guys on a Saturday night and It was hard to find a chica....So I walked out and into the alley, right there a pretty chica was waiting for me to take her up. I did and it was a great experience..

So just go with the flow and have fun...things often don't work out the way we want to in TJ...but there are so many options that if your flexible it will be a fun time regardless. Also, many times things take an unexpected turn for the better and I have a new experience that I didn't plan for that turns out great.

All of what he just said !!!  Some Mongers are very “anal” regarding their routine, so  they have no idea regarding the kind of things and experiences they miss out on.     Like Gringo S R said, “Flexible”  “Unexpected”.  “New Experiences”.   You’ll never know, if you’re afraid to “ Step outside the Box “
