Yes, that means I'm tall. Glad to be back, although it's been several years since I've partaken of the fruits of the ZN. I used to be on tjamigos, but it's probably not worth mentioning my old nic, as I doubt anyone would remember any of my posts. Nice to see the discussions have continued, though. I'm getting back into it after at least 5-6 years away. I have been reading up to see if much has changed, but it doesn't sound like there have been many huge changes over time. Many thanks to Reuben for resurrecting this community. While I weep at all the great info and photos (and membership fees) lost, glad to be here. My interests are in TJ and DF (I see there is a bit of activity in the DF boards, thx). Prefer SG's and Civvies over BG's. I've slowed way down from my past pace of 4x visits a year (due to work, etc), but hope to keep up my streak of every 6 months or so. Working on my Spanish (tips very welcome), strong interest in lucha, charreada, corridas (hope to see one before it's banned), and other deportivos. Interested in in-person meetups with other members, I'll be posting my travel schedule as it firms up.

Hello there, long time no see. NSE told me about this new site. I am excited that we have a new home! I haven't been going to La Zona much these past many months as I now have a Mexicana novia and my visits to TJ have been to see her. We just celebrated two years since we first met at Tropical. There has been much drama along the way that continues today, but that is what makes Mexico so much fun! I have seen more parts of TJ, met so many people and experienced more of the Mexican culture than I ever would just visiting La Zona.

Hola Amigos, Glad to see some reincarnation of the old forum. I was a bit infrequent over at TJA, but was lucky enough to meet and drink with some of the old-school in here, and was fairly good with photos and videos. Hope to contribute in the future - will be going down to TJ from LA more often.

Okay. I've been gone for a few months but now I come back and you want 10 bucks? Fine. Here's the 10 dollar question though...what do I get for my 10 dollars? What is "the good shit"? Are we talking about shit that we used to talk about freely or is it just some bullshit to get me to ante up $10 for some watered down crap? If it's worth the dough, I'm in. New here, what is up y'all. I run onto this site by chance, signing up was a breath. Checked some of the blogs you put on here. I wonder what is the average guy is like in here. I am not very young, not Mexican. TJ forced me to learn Spanish, I am an intermediate speaker now, spending so much time learning it. Opened up my sphere of view to a whole new world. I thought I'd go through withdrawals from TJA, but it was surprisingly easy to let go. I thought I'd be fine with only the memories, but a need & desire for some new memories kept lightly tapping on my door. I thought I wouldn't miss you guys, but as you see, here I am. Now I need to spend some time reading up & become familiar with this new adventure, before I jump into the Deep End !! Looking forward to reconnecting

Peaches here. I have not been to TJ in many years. My Spanish speaking friend first introduced me to TJ back in the day. I would go with him maybe once a year for fun, but it was not something I did regularly. Then a couple years ago, I came across "the other site." I logged on and quickly came up with the first Spanish word that I could think of as my handle, not expecting to be anything but a lurker (I did end up regretting my handle name, but no big whoop). Eventually, I ended up posting a few times, and really enjoyed reading many of the stories that the regular posters submitted.
